Steampunk’est hat, now with texture! Painted mainly in photoshop to get the diffuse and bump maps. Subdivided twice for the smoothness. Took awhile as job commitments got in the way. Gunna take a break from it now, will probs tweak it some more before I get a turnaround.

Hey, I think I'm almost there with this environment study. Got to the point where I'm pretty much just playing with it. Some good old fashioned feedback would be appreciated at this point. Been looking at it for so wrong cant really tell whats right/ wrong with it any more :/!

Slowly chiseling away at this piece. Haven’t had much of a chance to work on it over the past couple weeks due to moving house and job hunting :/… meh… But Hopefully should get it finished off soon so I can move on. Started adding some textures. Still got a few things to model. Trying a more hyper-real lighting contrast, but dunno if I’ll stick with it.

A still life study done in Maya. Currently a WIP. Have got most of the modelling done, with some basic shaders and lighting. Once I've applied the textures I've got a good feeling this should turn out ok. Trying to achieve photo-realism, or as close to as possible, just to see if I can.
